La fete de la musique takes place across France on 21st June. It’s a free street music event, covering all musical genres and attracting thousands of musicians, who perfrm all sorts of music in bars, cafes and in the street.
Another busy weekend in store for Simon in Brittany, playing with his Jazz band and with the choral group doing Verdi in St Brieuc and Charaix. The famous cousin (Eric Le Lann) of one of their band members will not be coming.
Simon had really busy weekend attending a funeral with the Tempo fanfare band and then playing Verdi in Penvanen.
It’s the end of an era in Lannion. The conductor of the local band is leaving after 25 years in charge. He’s had quite a career.
