Nicola Harrington - guest blogger living in France with 7 holiday rental gites

Nicola Harrington

The holiday booking season is upon us so I thought it was time to mention our gites……….

We bought La Maison Violette just two years ago and since then it has been completely renovated and now has floors, water and electricity!

La Maison Violette is located in the small village of Reminiac, and is within a two minute walk of the local bar/shop, handy for those early morning croissants and a cup of strong piping hot fresh coffee.

Reminiac also has a restaurant which is extremely popular with the locals. It hosts an annual Sculpture Week when great tree trunks are miraculously carved into works of art. Enjoy the ‘sculpture walk’ which starts just 500m from La Maison Violette.

La Maison Violette has just been renovated so everything is just out of the box, from the cutlery to the dishwasher.
