Pricing and Availability
We do not insist that you start your holiday on a particular day of the week, acknowledging that it may well be more cost effective for you to travel midweek. Nor will we ask you to book your stay in multiples of one week, accepting that you may wish to use the property for a short break, or as a stopover en-route to / from your main holiday. Also, although like other holiday operators we operate a low/mid/high season scale of pricing, there are no specific price hikes within those seasons to take account of school holiday periods.
These prices are subject to change at any time and without prior notice. Any bookings already taken will, of course, be honoured at the price applicable at the time of booking.
The holiday property is priced on a per-day basis (we count one day as being from = noon-to-noon), according to the following tariffs, and is available all year round. There is a £10 supplement for any stays of less than 4 days. |

We ask our guests to arrive after 2pm on their first day, and to vacate the property by 11am on their last day. This is to allow the property to be cleaned and prepared for the next guests. Where possible we do attempt to cater for individual requests for a late departure or an early arrival where it does not inconvenience those using the cottage before or after you. Please advise us at the time of booking if you would like to take advantage of this.

Our property manager lives close to the holiday cottage, and will welcome you on arrival and reclaim the keys from you on departure. She may also need to arrange a time to do routine garden maintenance during your stay. This will always be agreed with you first, and will be carried out at a time convenient to you.
Availability
The cottage is available for rent all year round. Although it has no central heating, the property does benefit from a wood burning stove (wood is supplied) plus a gas heater for instant warmth. The thickness of the stone walls make the cottage pleasantly cool during the warm summer months.
